Have you ever asked yourself what happens with return deliveries, old trousers from the display and other unworn SELFNATION trousers?
We were able to answer this question in the course of an exclusive event held with Social Fabric:
The textile industry is largely responsible for industrial waste. Approximately 30% of all manufactured clothing items is never worn. At SELFNATION, we produce to order exclusively. Nevertheless, a certain amount of waste cannot be prevented.
Accordingly, our focus on sustainable and fair production doesn’t end after the sale of the trousers. That is why on the 20th June, on World Refugee Day, we officially started working together with the sustainable textile studio Social Fabric from Zurich. From now on, Social Fabric will breathe new life into our jeans and process them further into cases, rucksacks and other products.
